I discovered the path to yoga over 15 years ago. The regular practice inspires and excites me and gives me the necessary balance for our modern everyday life. I wanted to learn more about this wonderful philosophy of life and in 2015 I decided to train to become a certified yoga teacher, graduating from the Professional Association Yoga Switzerland/EYU. This training comprises 700 hours and extends over 4 years. In April 2020, I followed up with the training to become a Yin Yoga Teacher Trainer, 50 Hrs.
Since 2016 I have been teaching regularly in Wädenswil and Hütten. Conscious breathing is always a very central point in my lessons. Whether in a dynamic flow or in a regenerating Yin Yoga lesson. The mindful treatment of body, mind and soul is a common thread running through all yoga sequences and is intended to help you achieve deep physical and mental relaxation.

These experiences intensified her perception of the world in a natural way and thus laid the foundation for becoming a yoga teacher.
After the first teacher trainings in the Iyengar style, she completed the intensive certification process for Anusara Yoga. She complemented her traditional medical knowledge as a physiotherapist with trainings in yoga therapy, craniosacral therapy and applied fields.
Her yoga classes are a successful combination of technique, science and art. Attentiveness to the inner self, the heart and precise alignment are important components of her teaching, as is the joy of discovering ever new aspects of the body and life.

In 2002 I attended my first Iyengar Yoga class at the "Centro de Yoga Iyengar de Madrid". From the first second I was enthusiastic about the precision and the clear way the teachers taught the postures.
Due to my positive experiences with this type of yoga, I decided to take a corresponding training course with Wilfrid Schichl in Bern in 2009. After three years of intensive practice and study of anatomy and philosophy, I received my certificate. This means that I am officially allowed to teach this style of yoga.
As I was interested in the origins of yoga, I travelled to India for a month in 2014. There I was also lucky enough to meet BKS Iyengar in person.
Today I teach classes at the yoga school I founded in Horgen.
I regularly attend further training courses at home and abroad.

Meditations and breathing exercises are an integral part of the yoga lessons and serve to focus, balance and relax at the same time.
I discovered yoga in 1995 and, in addition to regular yoga classes, I also attended QuiGong and TaiChi lessons. In 2016, I wanted to dive deeper into the world of yoga and attended my first yoga teacher training in Zurich. The 'wanting to know more' quickly grew into the desire to share what I had learned and so I started teaching yoga.
After a deepening training (2017-2018) I was registered with Yoga Alliance as RYT 500 and accepted as a member of the Swiss Yoga Association in 2021.
With constant further training, I deepen my yoga practice (including 80 h Journey through the Chakras and 50 h Yin Yoga Teacher Training).

Since 2015 I have been teaching various groups at Gobinde Yoga Studio in Zurich. In the last few years I have started to run my own women's retreats in the mountains of Graubünden. I have also discovered many beautiful places in nature around Horgen, where I offer small, fine mini-retreats and workshops.
More yoga classes and events are being planned at Fischenrüti Horgen and I look forward to welcoming you soon to this powerful place.

The yoga philosophy has been with me for over 40 years now. I have been teaching it at the Yogaoase Wädenswil for 25 years.
For me, yoga is like a tree. The roots lie in the ancient traditions, the trunk, the inner attitude towards life, so that the life energy can flow through and bring the crown to blossom.
I love nature and its creatures in their willingness to change. Sometimes calm, gentle and relaxed, sometimes challenging and powerful.
So I have immersed myself in various styles of yoga, Ayurveda, Spiral Dynamics. In 2000 I completed the 4 ½ year training Yoga Switzerland SY/EYU and just now the Focusing facilitator training according to E. Gendlin.
My yoga style is characterised by perceptive exercises and gradual development. Combining firmness and lightness. I like to teach topic-related and with the "next step" in everyday life. (Focusing)
After trying out many different yoga styles and teachers since 2010, I found a wonderful inspiring yoga teacher in Hawaii who understood how to weave the yoga philosophy with everyday relevance into the Vinyasaflow. I fulfilled my dream and completed my yoga training in Vinyasa Yoga with her on Maui. For the first time I understood that yoga can do much more than just keep my body fit. Since then, yoga has been a holistic practice for me for transformation and self-healing, to bring the inner world (mind) and the outer world (body) into harmony. In 2018, I started my journey as a yoga teacher with family and children's yoga in Wädenswil. Since spring 2020, I have been preparing pregnant women for their birth through my holistic pregnancy yoga course and also teach yoga for adults and for postpartum recovery.
Happiness is found in moments of alignment!

I sound, therefore I am.
I got to know the healing power of mantra chanting during my training as a yoga teacher and have been fascinated by these sound vibrations ever since. Chanting with other people in particular makes me happy. It is not about flawless art or musical ambitions, but about the joy of sounds. Whether you listen, sing or play along: I am open to everything that arises and cordially invite you to sound with me. You too can experience what singing can do.
